Am I eligible for this course?

If you are an engineering graduate in any discipline, with a 50% marks aggregate or more, you are eligible for this course.
Those who are appearing for their final examinations can also apply provided that they can furnish evidence of passing the qualifying examination before the end of August during the respective year of admission. There is no age limit.

Do I need to take any entrance examination?

Yes. Those who have appeared for CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/ATMA/ICET are eligible to apply for admission. Candidates with acceptable scores will be called for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview.
The dates for GDs/PI will be informed to the short-listed candidates through email or post well in advance.

How do I apply?

The application form and prospectus may be obtained from the office on all working days between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Alternatively, the application form can be downloaded from the Admission page.

What is the total student intake for the course?

The course can take a maximum of 60 students, including 20 under the sponsored category.

TEXT BOOKS

Do I need to buy text books?

No. Students will be given text books from the library on returnable basis. However, the institute encourages students to purchase their own books.

Can I work during the programme?

No. MIM is a full-time programme, which will require complete commitment and energy. Apart from academics, students will be involved in a series of beyond-the-classroom learning activities like summer internship, projects, seminars, workshops etc.

Is it approved by AICTE?

Yes. The degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, which is approved by AICTE.

Does the institute have visiting faculty?

The institute regularly invites industrialists and academicians of high stature including faculty from reputed engineering colleges, other premier management institutions in India and abroad and the corporate sector to cover sector focused academic modules.

Is there a different fee structure for NRIs?

Yes. Refer to the Admission Procedure in the prospectus.

When and how can one apply for an educational loan?

A student can apply for an educational loan immediately after taking admission into the programme. The institute will guide the students with obtaining bank loans. All nationalised banks are open to giving education loans since this course is being offered by JNTU-H, an university established by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
